2017 Mercedes-Benz E-Class
Wiper Blade Size
The 2017 Mercedes-Benz E-Class uses 24"" and 24"" front wiper blades, with no rear wiper on this model. The blades mount on PTB (push-tab button) arms. This is a standard configuration typical of mid-size sedans from this era.
Note: The 2017 Mercedes-Benz E-Class uses different wiper sizes than the 2016 model. Specifically, the arm type changed from Pin to PTB. Make sure to buy the correct sizes for your specific model year.

PTB Installation Guide
PTB (Push-Tab Button) arms use a small plastic tab to lock the blade in place. Common on many 2010+ American and Asian vehicles, they require pressing a button to release the old blade. Not all universal blades include a PTB adapter — check the packaging before purchasing.
- 1 Lift the wiper arm away from the windshield until it stays upright.
- 2 Locate the push-tab button on the center of the blade where it connects to the arm.
- 3 Press and hold the push-tab button, then slide the old blade away from the arm.
- 4 Slide the new 24"" driver-side blade onto the arm pin until the tab clicks and locks.
- 5 Tug the blade gently to confirm it is secure, then lower the arm.
- 6 Repeat on the passenger side with the 24"" blade.
- 7 Spray washer fluid and cycle the wipers to verify smooth, streak-free operation.
Tips
• PTB (push-tab button) arms are common on 2010+ vehicles. Not all universal blades include a PTB adapter — check the packaging.
• If the tab feels stuck, try pressing it from a slightly different angle. Forcing it can break the plastic clip.
• Some PTB blades are side-specific — verify the adapter orientation matches the arm.
Rear Wiper
The 2017 Mercedes-Benz E-Class does not have a rear wiper blade. This is common for sedans and coupes. If your vehicle was originally equipped with a rear wiper and it has been removed, see our rear wiper delete guide for cap and plug options.
