2010 Mercedes-Benz GLE
Wiper Blade Size

The 2010 Mercedes-Benz GLE uses 24"" and 24"" front wiper blades with a 14"" rear blade. The blades mount on pin-lock arms. This is a standard configuration typical of SUVs and crossovers from this era.

The 2006–2011 Mercedes-Benz GLE all use the same wiper blade sizes, so any blade that fits the 2010 model will also fit these years.

Pin Installation Guide

Car driving in rain with wiper blades active
Pin Arms Difficulty: Moderate ~11 minutes

Pin-type arms secure the blade with a small metal or plastic pin that locks into a hole in the arm. Found on select European and Asian models, they require pressing the pin inward to release. A small flat-head screwdriver helps with removal.

  1. 1 Lift the wiper arm away from the windshield.
  2. 2 Locate the small locking pin on the underside of the blade adapter.
  3. 3 Use a flat-head screwdriver or your fingernail to press the pin inward and release the blade.
  4. 4 Slide the old blade off the arm post.
  5. 5 Align the new 24"" driver-side blade over the arm post and push down until the pin clicks into the locked position.
  6. 6 Lower the arm and verify the blade sits flat against the glass.
  7. 7 Repeat on the passenger side with the 24"" blade.
  8. 8 Repeat the process for the 14"" rear blade. Rear blades often use a different adapter — check the packaging.
  9. 9 Spray washer fluid and cycle the wipers to verify smooth, streak-free operation.

Tips

• Pin-type arms use a small metal or plastic pin to lock the blade. A thin flat-head screwdriver makes removal easier.

• Do not bend or force the pin — it should release with light pressure.

• Some aftermarket blades include a multi-adapter kit; select the pin adapter specifically.

Rear Wiper Blade

The 2010 Mercedes-Benz GLE has a 14"" rear wiper blade. Rear blades often use a different connector than the front blades — check the packaging for rear-wiper compatibility. Most auto-parts stores stock rear blades separately from front sets.
